Hi! My name is Audrey Adji (she/her). I was born and raised in New Haven and currently live in Boston. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2023 with a Bachelors of Music in Music Open Studies: Voice with a Theater minor and studied with Nathan Gunn.

I have extensive training in cello and have also dabbled with other instruments like the guitar, violin, piano, spoons, and viola da gamba. I am soups honored to have been gifted a cello from the Paul Miller Foundation and the Yale School of Music in 2016.

I wrote my first emo/metal-inspired EP, The Beginning of The End, for my senior capstone. I have been inspired to explore other art forms such as film, directing, screenwriting, composing, and songwriting.

Perspective in the Arts

I am a firm believer in intention in the arts. I believe in the importance of using the arts to better the world, challenge ourselves as people, and make connections.

The arts were created to tell stories to a wide audience, helping us understand and appreciate others and our world. I enjoy working with others and creating art that prompts people to reflect on themselves or connect with a character on stage.

Performing allows me to learn more about myself and stay grounded in a hectic world. The arts are for everyone, and all spaces should allow for that.
